The Concept
History   The Big Clean Up   St. Mary’s Island

Archeological digs prove that the island was once roamed by Dinosaurs...then Palaeolithic and Neolithic hunters and settlers...then the Romans and the Vikings.

The ground levels on St. Mary's Island were made up from waste materials used at the brickworks and dockyard.

St Mary's Island is a 150 acre residential redevelopment by Countryside Maritime, a joint venture between the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and Countryside Properties.

Did you know?

St. Mary's Island's first inhabitants were the dinosaurs, who roamed there some 75 million years ago.
